Today, I finished our read-aloud, The Loner...a 1964 Caldecott Award winner. And, I can see why! It was really excellent...especially for my 11 year old boy! Tommie's hermit crab died. I'm not sure when. But it must of been some time ago...because it was really smelly! I scooped it up and put it in a clean baby food jar...which will be added to our nature table!

Today was a pretty uneventful day. Which, sometimes is really okay! smile-wink-nod!
